It is a pleasure to have met you. I wish to discuss all your issues you have posted. In order to do this, we must take one issue at a time. Do you believe the New Testament is the Word of God? This is important because if you do, let's continue to analyze them. But if you pick and choose the ones you want, it will be hard to know which you will and which you won't. I sincerely hope you do believe the entire New Testament is the inerrant Word of God. Answer this first as it will form the basis of our discussion. You presented to me your viewpoint that the New Testament, when references the comforter, references Muhammad. Didn't you? Lets just stay on that one and then we could move along. I will address every issue you have but one at a time. That how my mind thinks. You discuss the issue, come to a resolution, even if that means to agree to disagree and move on. There are others watching and I am sure you are as I, wanting to have those people formulate an opinion from our discussion. Is that acceptable? Also, I try to keep my responses relatively short so people don't daze off as they read? Is that OK? Let's talk about the New Testament references to the Comforter from the American Standard Version. It is easy for me to use this version so I could copy and paste. If you chose to use another, let me know and I will try to get the software so I could copy and paste from that one. It so much easier than typing it all over again .... John 14:16 - And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may be with you for ever John 14:26 - But the Comforter, [even] the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said unto you. John 15:26 - 27 - But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, [even] the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall bear witness of me: and ye also bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning. John 16:6 - 9 - But because I have spoken these things unto you, sorrow hath filled your heart. Nevertheless I tell you the truth: It is expedient for you that I go away; for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I go, I will send him unto you. And he, when he is come, will convict the world in respect of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: of sin, because they believe not on me Now you started with these verses and I ask you, one at a time, did Muhammad fulfill every one of these versus? Plug his name in instead of Comforter. Does it work? One at a time..... Also if it fails one test, do you agree Muhammad is not the person referenced in this scripture? I have read most of your responses so far and they were interesting. I promise we could go back to them, one at a time. But let's try to keep it concise and orderly. If I were to answer all your questions in one response, we probably could bring down the SI server. A lot rides on the result. Please be patient with me. I know you have touched on some of these versus already, but lets exhaust one at a time. Will exhaust it, starting with John 14:16, and move on. We will get to the bottom of this ... Steve PS - Also, as I will, pray to God while conversing. He WILL tell you the truth if you go to him with a truly open heart and mind. He promises this!
