It looks like John Rizzo's tedious re-postings of the fake AOL message have been removed from the SI site. I am not a proponent of censorship even when I am maligned. Personally, I think they have found a suitable repository. But I would just as soon they remain as a testament for all to see - the kinds of tactics that are used to answer those that ask questions.
