Re -- In fact, this is the "model" most brokerage houses use to do RMBS's valuation (i.e.Morgan Stanley and H&Q).

WRONG MODEL. You should continue to follow those clown analysts. MSFT and SAP have products (numerous) of their own.

The closest Rambus comes is to Adobe (postscript). (In fact if you look at RMBS board, one of the adobe founders is on the board). Also printers are a relatively high margin compared to ram.

Thread,

exchange2000.com

Intel officials have told Wall Street analysts that the company was committed to doing what is necessary to help ensure the industry has supplies of necessary computer components, which would include memory chips such as those built by LG.

While making no particular commitments, exectutives at Intel have expressed concerns that Asian chipmakers reeling from the effects of the Asian economic crisis not forego investments in future technologies and plant capacity.

When Intel puts their money on the line, you might discern it's for a
real good reason. Looks like if Asian suppliers need some help getting some short term money, old deep pockets will be there.
