Correct in all counts, except the time frame....

As they say "the writing is on the wall".... it will happen and indeed let some big money start rolling into soccer, and there will be no turning back.

Do not forget that only 20 years ago seeing a US team play soccer was a sorry sight, not any more...

And do not forget the resources the US has... it is a matter of time, and I would say not more than two World Cups, the US maybe not a winner yet, but most definitively a serious contender.

As for Klaus.... the nomination is automatic the instant Germany loses a game, and if Germany gets kicked out of the cup, he will get the nomination with honorary mention...

Don't know what Klaun means, but keep on calling me names and change prediction every day.

To all good old England supporters:

Write e-mail to your team telling them ball must be b e y o n d the line to score. Since late 1966 WC referees and linesmen must pass a special eye-test, they do not accept blinds anymore.

In 2006 funny young sock Owens maybe shoots England during WC in Germany into final. We'll see.
