Berney; RE:" trailing stops "

>Steve, what's your view on trailing stops ?

I only use 'em on momentum frenzy-like tradez, Berney; eg., internet stocks or "story stocks" or something like that. I always sell too soon and close out at the end of the day, however - changing the STOP to a MKT order before the close. I'm not a very good momentum trader, though - Bob is really good at it, but I don't think he uses trailing stops but more traditional "tape reading" to exit.

Tried to short CWZ @ MKT 15 min before close today, but apparently there was no uptick, as DATEK failed to execute.

DIS was an excellent choice for a technical pull-back after breaking an UpTrend, Berney. If it opened up tomorrow, I'd dump it, but then I always sell too soon (^_^)

TraderBerney is hot hot hot !!!

-Steve

Mickey & co shell have huge fundamental problems...

their "theme-parks", especially the new animal-park, run far below expectations.

More, instead a calculated positive influence to their "magic kingdom", they have sliding visitor-numbers there too.

IMO, the "magic" is disappearing. There's a hard competition, times are over, when "Universal" and "Disney" brought alone a outstanding show.

Todays public has harder criteria for "illusion", and the worth of "reality" is again better understood - even in US.

But mostly "reality" is just "virtual" with DIS - form Las Vegas to Bambi (Berney, hey!) - it was "toys", and "us" aren't toys anymore.

It's easy during these days to buy stocks "cheap" - but in case of DIS I would recommend to consider why not going out when the next movie will be sold well on the boxes.

As always, probably I'm wrong. Good luck to your friend, Berney!
