I mean the organizational superstructures, professional beggars that worship architecture, maintain a paid clergy which has not taught the Bible, but honor themselves with a name reserved for God: "Holy and REVEREND is His name Psalm 111:9. To test this: When is the last time you heard a sermon in on the New Earth, a perfect world to come wherein the old shall become young, the dead resurrected to live here again and all disabilities from Adam's fall erased? [Revelation 21] Christ Jesus our Saviour shall redeem the earth and mankind upon it, duplicating worldwide all his loving miracles. In the first 75% of the Bible this is the only hope held out: "They shall beat their swords into plowshares, and nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more." [Isaiah 2:4] "The earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of Jehovah, as the waters cover the sea." [Habakkuk 2:14] DLL, the Bible is full of these promises, and I'll bet no one on this thread has ever heard a sermon about it. Jesus said: "He that loveth me not keepeth not my words." "You received free, give free." and "The son of man has not where to lay his head" Paul said: "If any will not work, neither let him eat ... If any man obeyeth not our word by this epistle, note that man, that ye have no company with him." John 14:24 Matthew 10:8 8:20 2 Thess 3 Cancel all preachers' salaries July 1st and see how many you've got August 1? I'm a dedicated Christian, DLL. I love God, pray constantly, and evangelize. If the churches fill the bill above, it's their doing not mine. This thread exists because they've sown a whirlwind of confusion and disgust among intelligent thinkers, and not clearly taught the God of Creation.
