Here is today's *irresponsible internet article* award winner biz.yahoo.com They claim that 1. internet stocks are up because the Disney/Infoseek deal put a floor on prices. WHAT?? Most everyone values that deal between 7 and 25 per SEEK share. SEEK has been down, including today, since the terms were announced and looks quite weak. 2. Shorts have covered because they are no longer able to sustain valuation arguments against these companies. Keith Benjamin of BARS leads the list of analyst quoted here. Joe P.S.
