Why not deal with the questions re: dgiv? What does it have to do with the one asking the questions?

There is no credibility on this board

You take any factual information or rumors for that matter and you attempt to confirm them on your own to your satisfaction. It doesn't matter if its Goldman Sachs, you do your homework.

ASK THE QUESTIONS
GET THE ANSWERS

It is also curious how people can say that they bought the stock at pennies and wouldn't sell it even if it went to $20. Stupid statements just like these exemplify the mentality of some of the individuals on this board.

The stock market is no different then gambling in a casino and certain mathematical facts hold hard and true. These philosophies have been echoed by the Lynches of the world.

Rule 1:

Only a fool turns a profit into a loss.

Rule 2:

Cut your losses and let your profits run

Rule 3:

Your first loss is the best loss.

Basic market strategies:

If you have a strong positive conviction in a stock and you believe in its future, take a profit (if one exists) equal to your investment so as to assure yourself that if the investment went to 0 you would not book a loss and if you want you then let the profit ride.

Rule 4:

Never average down on a losing position you simply compound your loss.

Rule 5:

In ones portfolio when one needs to sell positions, always sell your losers first.

Rule 6:

The market tells you whether you are right or wrong.
