Don't think for a minute that the memory manufacturers won't dump
Rambus designs for the SLDRAM if it proves to be compatible.
Goldstar is a member of the SLDRAM consortium, as are all the
big Memory companies and all the big PC OEMs (i.e. Dell, Compaq)

Everyone is covering both sides right now. Only Intel has committed
to one design, publically, I wouldn't doubt that they have a SLDRAM
option just in case... Then we have poor little Rambus going "poof!"
