So much hate.... how bout something we can agree on? The booming potential for an investment bonanza in online gambling? I know this is a bit off Topic, but I think this is HOT TOPIC #1

Key question US investors have to ask themselves:
There is HUGE money to be made on online gambling...but is it legal?

excerpt:

By conservative estimates, the Internet casino industry is
presently estimated at a value of $800 million. By the year 2000, it is estimated to reach the $10 billion mark, which is about what McDonald's makes in sales annually worldwide. For instance, Global Sports Connection, an off-shore Internet sports betting company based in Costa Rica and founded merely two years ago, showed final figures of over $70 million in sales for 1997. It is also predicted that Internet gambling will rival and possibly surpass Internet sex as the most utilized activity on the information superhighway. This growth poses legal, technological and enforcement concerns for the United States.

Starter (STA:NYSE) and I can't recall a stock that had more
insider buying 100% ago than this cap maker. What's with
these guys? Is it that bad a business? (The only good
critique about this I have ever seen was the James Cramer
Hat Thread, which Thomas G. Busillo, a loyal reader,
entered into by mistake while cruising through the James
Cramer Hate Thread. Tom, we may disagree on Kurlak, but
you are the funniest intellect on the Web, a Lenny
Bruce-comes-to-University of Chicago type with South
Philly roots.) I'll pass.
