SHARE ACQUISITION VANCOUVER, June 22 /CNW/ - Rosstree Capital Corporation (formerly Rosstree Investment Corporation) (''Rosstree'') announces that on June 18, 1998 it purchased an additional 173,895 Common shares (''Shares'') in Tekerra Gas Inc. (formerly Canadian Arctic Petroleums Ltd.) (''Tekerra'') on the Vancouver Stock Exchange. The total holdings of Rosstree in Tekerra is now 2,050,395 Shares, which is approximately 25.4% of the issued and outstanding Shares of Tekerra. John B. Ross (''Ross''), the President and owner of 50% of the shares of Rosstree, owns 380,925 Shares of Tekerra, which is approximately 4.7% of the outstanding Shares of Tekerra, and holds an option to acquire an additional 50,000 Shares. Rosstree has acquired the Shares of Tekerra for investment purposes. Rosstree and/or Ross may from time to time acquire additional securities or dispose of securities of Tekerra. While Rosstree and/or Ross may acquire further Shares or other securities of Tekerra in the future, neither has any present intention to do so.
