When I insert the data CD ROM the program tries to read from my 3.5 inch drive instead of the CD ROM drive.

The program scans that available drives on your system from drive C to drive Z looking for the ile CDDATE.TXT in the directory QPR2CD.

if it's hitting your floppy drive, then the floppy has a drive letter between C and Z. Put a formatted disk in the drive, and the program should ignore it.

Gary Lyben: Disregard my previous post for help. August Lang of this discussion group had the same problem about data disk loading problem. The "Configure CD rom buffer window" on Pg 6 of the manual shows all exchanges selected. This works. I orginally selected all but the Mutual Funds. This did not work. Appears to be a problem here.
