Martin, I've been thinking about your strategy with respect to buying and selling in light of the 10K. As has been discussed, the 10K may illustrate that SNMM is close to, if not slightly over, breakeven. While this is great news for the company, I'll "wager" that the stock won't significantly respond until a couple MORE quarters. What's my rationale? Meph will love this... ;0) 1. Print out a 12-month chart on CRYP. 2. Cross-reference the *Explosion* of that stock with the dates of CRYP's news releases. May 1997 - Cryp announces (late) a minor first quarter loss - Cryp stock trading at roughly $10 CDN Summer / Fall 1997 - Cryp signs (three?) licensees - (No mention of second quarter results, but monthly revenues given) October 1997 - Cryp announces a decisively profitable third quarter - Cryp stock trading at roughly $25 CDN (notwithstanding the GREAT spikes) Speculating that SNMM announces a breakeven financial status (10K), I contend that Starnet will be, at August 1998, roughly where CRYP was in June 1997, and is therefore about 5 quarters behind CRYP in its "life cycle." If it took about six months for CRYP's stock to break out in relation to its earnings, this means...(August, September, October, November, December, January...) SNMM will arguably go North in the latter half of this calendar year. I am therefore holding SNMM until December / January and will make a judgement call then. I'm speculating that the September and December 10Qs will look too impressive for any investor to ignore. Meph / Drake = they DO have a third party PR firm, and as far as I can tell, they haven't done Jack Squat. While numbers are numbers, Starnet's IR department can't increase public awareness of its company, stock and industry all by themselves. To add to it, Toma and Alan have never been willing to give projections - only the odd reluctant mention of current revenues. What they're doing is right...making projections from the source is frowned upon by the Commission. But why the hell isn't Market Direct Concepts spreading the word and making projections FOR them??? Your comments would be appreciated ;0) ///M
