H-Man, the spreads always get wide in both directions on NYSE traded issues after the market's closed, and has no bearing on the open. This in itself is not "bizarre", but just about everything else is as it relates to CS lately................rumors of an open @ $20............in my dreams maybe.

this is very typical and the market is in the middle, right where it closed.

during the aftermarket the spread widens to lessen the risk. I'd ignore it. Tomorrow will have a whole different picture. Who knows what will happen.
