Gary, over the weekend, I renamed my Virtual sub files (while keeping the virtual file names the same) by using the rename function in Windows Explorer. Tonight when I downloaded from the internet, none of the virtual sub files were updated. What should I do to 1) get the files updated and 2) prevent this from happening again?

OKaaaayy Gary! Ya sent me the april fools disk right? First the laptop died, so I dumped QV...now NADA works in the Q+ suite works at all! LOL!

If it had not been for a brief looksee at this program and all the people that rave about it here and the great scan language... the program disk would have been frisbee material for the neighbors dog! LOL!

I'm sure B Gates as his crew have not helped the matter much either.

Trying to maintain here, I think it's time for a reinstall, will keep y'all posted.

saga continues...maybe I'll get it before my 30 day trial is over >gg<

Also, scanning all those issues in a virtual database will be slow.

The head of Techni Filter Plus, Clay Burch, has said the same thing. It's inherent in the design, scanning virtual data takes more steps, and more time. Perhaps it's more noticable in the faster scanning programs like TFP than Metastock which is not known for speed. Also if you prefilter and only scan databases of 300 or so stocks, the speed differerence may be less noticeable.

As for GET WIN, mine locks up the computer before it ever finishes.

Gary,
I give up. Surrender. Q+ will not reinstall. It says it detects a newer version and aborts. Neat. So I blew it all away. Still does it. Neat.

Kicker ready? Set 34,13,89 hut ,hut!

Need workaround , please.
