Frankly, I can't figure out the trading in NOV. But the volume appears to be higher on up days than on down days, so that could be good. Unfortunately, NOV may not perform well until they can show that they can profit from the new Medicare system.

A research note by Sheryl Skolnick at BARS today. She said that the 2 acquisitions by NOV the other day will be accretive, but not enough to affect EPS. The Phoenix deal will create cross-selling opportunities with NCES, since NCES has a strong presence in that area.

Reiterate BUY, as do I.
