In all due respect....since I probably know you. I was referring to your post:

where you said Micom had voice well before Cisco. My comments about MICOM's metasymbol technology were to point out the fact that although Micom had voice before Cisco it was proprietary in effect giving NT no net lead in the current space.

You point out that you were selling VoIP from Micom before Cisco had priced theres. I believe Cisco had products shipping very near Micom's VoIP announcement. I don't think the small lead that Micom got into the market has given them or NT any significant advantage. Also note that Cisco has acquired significant technology as well - including Lightspeed, Ardent, and StrataCom - all of whom had advanced voice technology.

I hope this clears up what I meant. There was no "Cisco Marketing BS" here and I don't know why folks love to take this company so personally. And, I should point out that I worked for Micom and was part of the original data voice development teams there.
