Something needs to be said about Cause and Effect here.As an example I am going to compare VCRS with Computers.Today one can buy a VCR for $99.00 - $109.00 that will do the job.Why even get one repaired when a Tuneup costs about $30.00 and you can get a new one for $70.00 more?

A little over a year ago I bought a 233 MMX Computer with a 15 inch Monitor for $1300.00 Last week I bought almost the same exact 233MMX Computer without Monitor for $560.00. I estimate prices for these computers with Monitors will be close to $500.00 by the end of this year. Bad news for the manufacturers. Either they will adjust, fall by the wayside or be absorbed by Stronger ones. What is bad for them is great for thr Consumer. More people will buy Computers and more people will buy more than one.The Internet is adding people at a Geometric rate every month not to mention the Automation people will be able to use them for in their homes etc.

I would also like to use the example of two stocks to illustrate this thread. The first is THQI. Two years ago this stock was in bad shape and had a 10:1 reverse split and all that looked like maybe it had a chance was new management in the form of Brian Farrell. It was selling for pennies. Any accountant looking at this stock then would have been turned off by the Financials that were miserable or werent there.I bought about 6 months later in the sixes and sold this year at 25 and it got up to 32. It didnt fit my criteria anymore. You have to be able to look further than today .Tunnel vision wont get it.

The other Stock is Ampex(AXC)The stock has many Patents including one for the VCR,however, you had many Cheerleaders and they focused on one thing which was an Improvement to Hard Drive Storage they were working on.The cheerleaders focused on this one application day after day until they made it a one concept stock and when AXC cut back on their plans for it the Stock tanked even though it had a lot going for it just because the Cheerleaders focused on one Concept. Thus there is something to be said for both short-sighted accountants and Cheerleaders. There will most likely be no new blood here because people are turned off postings that talk about Daisey Shorts and all other things that arent applicable to DGIV.I dont have time to read all these posts so I read the wordings before I click on the actual message. I dont read it if it doesnt apply. I am sure others are doing the same and if matters applicable to DGIV are later in the post they just dont read it.A fertile ground is provided for Naysayers because new blood is discouraged etc and they are easier to sway.

How many people stop their cars at a Stopsign and when it turns green you have to wait for the person in front to shift out of gear from Park or Neutral because they think they are saving Gas.Read your manual. Automatic transmissions are engineeered to idle less while in Drive because that is the gear most people drive in. This myth goes back to 73 and the Oil Embargo.Cars are engineered better. The exception is Manual Transmissions.People just wont get away from the myth.

Now we have Anal 10 and this guy thinks Microsoft got where they were because they had a better Product rather than the Fact that they got here because of Shrewd Marketing and an Alliance with IBM that controlled 90% of the market at the time. The guy is either a Fraud or gets his info from "Home Office" magazine. My cat has more technological savvy then him yet some people are easily sucked in. Easier to get sucked in by what appears to be hard Technical questions then trying to wade through "Daisy shorts" or "blasting off in the Engine room". It is not my area to criticize here. It was your thread before I got here. Just stating the facts.

There are other reasons to be adverse on a Stock. One might want to buy the stock after all, so bad mouth it and get it down in Value while not Short. There are also people who have no Interest one way or the other and just want to play Games and see if they can cause the stock to go down. Personally I dont think Anal one has any Certification in Accounting or any degrees. Any info he has released could have been obtained in"Investing for Dummies" or any other sort of Literature. This is why he is Anonymous and wont give any particulars. I could have debated him with my Background to see if we could weed him out but he either wouldnt respond when he couldnt etc and it just would have muddied the waters.

I suspect he is a clerk in a Store, A security guard, or a College student with no Technological background to speak of. Any one who sells or sold because of Factors they deemed wasnt right for them is one thing. Anyone that sold or sells because of this individual who will not respond as to experience or Certification has no Business in the Market and should run not walk for the Exits as they are dealing with it emotionally.
