What would you like to know about ADSL? If your interest is for investments reasons, don't hold your breath. We'll have maybe 2 million lines in 1999. Nobody will get rich. If you want it for yourself, the odds of getting cable modem is higher depending on where you live.

Just to set the record straight on my past involvement on Amati thread. I was there early on and very excited about the prospects for Amati. But then I saw what was going on in that space, with the competitive picture, the realities of the deployment by telcos. When I expressed my views they all got upset. Nobody wants to hear the reality when they bought the stock at the top!

Believe it or not, I have nothing against Dell. I like the company and it's management and I have known both AND the PC space for a very long time. This is not personal and it's purely about the fact that the market cap has ALL possible good news/future incorporated.
