I sure hope that IDTI does more than talk about producing volumes of parts and ramping quickly to 266 and 300 Mhz versions. The retail unit one pricing for AMD 266 Mhz 3dNow! parts is around $95. The pricing for K6 and Cyrix MX 266 parts is around $75. AMD's 300 Mhz speed grade 3dNow! parts are selling for around $115.

AMD is expected to ramp speed grades toward 400 Mhz by the end of the year. The 266 Mhz grade will probably be the most common flavor by this Christmas buying season with anything less going at a substantial discount. By early next year, 300 Mhz will be the sweet-spot of the market.

Let's hope IDTI's past sorry performance in delivering on speed bump promises is surpassed on this go. The next few months wil tell if IDTI has what it takes to compete in the X86 market or Perham and others are floundering in the land of make believe.

HI Rob, AIM'll have me selling about 5% of my holdings in IDTI at $10. The cash reserve I keep for this stock is pretty much depleted, so I'll take the sale when it comes and rebuild the reserve. Once I get a few more $$$ salted away, I'll start to sell calls against future sales.

Best regards, Tom
