Someone might want a workstation with 1 or 2 Xeon processors though. They won't be affected. As for taking 6-8 weeks through fab, I think your numbers are way on the high side, but throw in bug fix, regressions, layout, mask generation, silicon checkout etc and you are probably close.

First, let's put away your personal opinion of nobody willing to buy the 2-way servers.

Did you buy Intel at $67 right after that afternoon siesta like Time Traveler advised you to do?

Also check into LLTC and MXIM. Do you have non-bullish analysis than Time Traveler does?
