Sonny, yes, I guess LG Semicon is just a rumor. They happened to be in on the Rambus new technology memory testing with Intel, Toshiba and Rambus. Maybe the rumor started there.

Now it appears that Intel has a bug, or "errata" (small bug) in the new chipset, called 440NX, that supports the new Pentium II-on- steroids Xeon chips. They can ship the new Xeons starting end June in ones or twos, but can't ship three through eight Xeons together on one motherboard until "late summer". I put on the other board that what customers can do is take the onesy twosy systems now (end June) and test out all their software for compatibility. Then, in late summer, they can upgrade to bigger systems if they want, complete compatibility testing, then go into production. I'm sure Intel will make that upgrade smooth and easy on the customer.

Another glitch at Intel. Makes you wonder. However, at most other companies these glitches are not seen because they are not under the spotlight that Intel is. The stock gapped up to open, went higher, then fell back. Still up 13/16.

I didn't buy Rambus. Groan. My wife sold Intuit a while back for +50%, also did well with HRB. Now she has another one but isn't telling me yet what it is. :-|
