David:

I bought a little CMP last fall at 10 and bought huge all the way down to under $6, ending up with a huge position with an average basis of about $7.50 and took profits at 11.

I don't see what relevance CMP has on HDIE? There are plenty of stocks that have fallen from highs and never returned to them. Ever. A rather good rule to go by is "Professionals Average up. Amateurs average down."

Now there are always those that are the exceptions to the rule but in general, averaging up is the best way to go. I hope HDIE gives investors a chance to average up but as many have noted, another down day tomorrow and that opportunity might be forgone for some time.

Conservatively Yours,
Raymond J. Norris
