Good Sites...

I've been looking for some news about the Ballard and GE rumors. My search didn't turn up anything about that, but I did find a couple of good sites. My apologies if they've been posted before.

U.S. Alternative Fuels Data Center

afdc3.nrel.gov

Click on "Search Site or Documents", and search for "fuel cell". Lots of interesting stuff.

U.S. National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL)

An interesting quote from this site:

Ford Spends 50% of its Scientific Research Budget on Environmental Innovation -- At the recent North American Auto Show, Alex
Trotman, Ford's CEO, commented that he sees the auto industry on the verge of developing new technologies that can be mass produced and will
revolutionize the industry in a way that hasn't been seen "since carriages went horseless." Trotman also stated that Ford spends 50% of its scientific
research budget on environmental innovation and technical breakthroughs. (Renaissance Times: 1/12/98)

Bob: Wowzah!! This, along with other recent events, should continue to fuel(no pun intended) BLDPF's rise, eh? And correct me if I'm wrong, but BLDPF has been on a steady march upward since it's recent low of ~$26. As a matter of fact, currently trading $33 7/8 x $34.

The Investment Reporter is a newsletter in Canada with a rather significant readership. It is also well respected. I just received the latest issue. The following recommendations was made in it:

"We recommend that you hold your shares, unless your portfolio is heavily weighted with Ballard stock. If so, you should reduce your holdings."

Could have an affect over the next few days???
