actually, the average 'long' is impressed with the banshee. The average long knows the management by name and likes them alot. etc etc etc etc etc.

what we DONT like is mornings like today that are indicative of the last 2 months. I watched over 20 small buys all get gobbled by a 'nameless' market maker who sat on the ask. 20 sales at 17 3/8, and what happens next? He puts another 5000 up for sale and lowers his ask to 17 5/16 despite the fact that people are hitting the 17 3/8.

THIS is where the TDFX longs are getting discourage. I really dont think the management could do a better job but when you get utterly disgusted, you have nobody else to aim it at.

these shares are being shorted, and if this retail keeps pouring in there has to be a point that they back off. Thats what im praying for

OK, Andrew "Mr. Sunshine" Kruh:
<<Everyone seems to be bitching at TDFX management because we didn't get a 10% rise on a press release which pretty much stated what everyone knew already. If we had gone up two points today you all would be singing TDFX management's praises to the Lord on High. Face it, there is only so much "management" can do.>>

I'd be singing no praises at a 47% price drop as opposed to a 50% drop!

<<In my mind, this press release was announced today because of the recent stock price action. >>

This was announced because it was ready to ship! Do you think they time it to coincide with the stock price?

<<If the management of TDFX continues to make sure the technology end puts out cutting edge products, then in my mind they are doing their job. >>

It's the engineer's job to ensure cutting edge product and managements job to market and grow the company! The engineers are doing their job, what is management doing...no OEM deals, no PR, worthless stock paper.

<<Fundamentals will eventually tell the story on this stock. Either the company will perform or they won't>>

I guess the last earnings announcement didn't tell a story?

<<I firmly believe however that a slew of meaningless press releases no matter how they are timed will have little or no effect on the LONG TERM prospects of this stock. Wooing institutions at this point is a waste of time and energy. I would far rather see the top brass at TDFX wooing OEM deals for Banshee then sucking up to mutual fund managers who will bail the first time Nvidia announces their next "Voodoo Killer." (which should be any minute now). >>

The public are the investors, not OEMs. PR can make or break a company. There is little difference between Investors and retail purchasers. Both will migrate toward the perceived better solution.

<<All the competitors management teams have managed to do is write a lot of nifty press releases.>>

My point exactly, look at the effect of PR!

Good Luck,
Tony
