Stephen, right on!!! There can be no doubt that a doctor has the well-being of his/her patients to a far, far, greater extent than any HMO in existence...In my opinion, HMOs are far more interested in profit, and how little service they can get away with while whining to Congress for more dollar increases...Our politicians, (oops, lawmakers), coddle HMOs far too much at the expense of the American public...If Kaiser Permanente is any example, they appear to be obscenely wealthy..
