Thanks... would be happy to discuss in more detail as this is definitely an interest to me...but a departure from what i'm used to...which is equities, covered calls, and a few long and short calls or puts...

My take from reading so far is that in this particular case Schiller is suggesting to open the spread on a monthly basis....for the current month's expiration...either the first or second week after the previous months expiration date... The sigma is figured by using a chart consisting of the 13 months previous hi-low swings of the OEX...

If you wait until a week before expiration...is the net credit significant enough to make it worth while?
