I thought the adults might have been given Neuprex since
they were brought into the same hospitals as the trials....but after
rereading your post it looks like the adult trial is in different
hospitals than those running the trials on the kids. Will the
results from these ten patients be used to set up another Phase II & III
trials on down the road?

Tharos, I think it is interesting that the F.D.A. said go ahead and test this on adults. Do they have serious doubts that it does not work in kids? O.K. does not work in kids let XOMA try it in adults. Does not seem logical unless the English and the FDA feel there is at least a good indication that Neuprex helps, so try it on some adults, save some lives and get some useful additional data. Just my thoughts. I do not know the real reason why the F.D.A. approved expansion of the trial or a new trial with adults. It is Ellen's fault I don't know! <g>
