Another thing. The fact that the Aries Fund is and has been selling stock should be of no surprise to anyone. These guys are in it for the quick buck, which is not necessarily a bad thing. They were given a sweetheart deal and are capitalizing on it. Period. They have a bunch of biotech stocks (more than a few cancer-related biotech stocks) in its portfolio, and they are not about to fall in love with ACEL. To them (as with many investors) ACEL is just a number on the screen -- when that number makes them money, they pull the trigger.

Yes, it hurts the stock price now, but I'm not stressing over it because they probably didn't invest in ACEL for fundamentals and they are not about to hold onto it for fundamentals either.

Greg...I see your points and don't dispute them. My question, however, remains unanswered. Why is ACEL any different from other biotechs with good science?? We all blame the PR firm (with good reason) but discovery is a two way process. Surely there are dozens of analysts whose ONLY job is to sniff out these "blockbuster" microcaps to be first on the "next AMGEN train". ACEL should not be able to stay undiscovered even if they wanted to be. My fear (I know, Leighton, I know nothing about financing either) is that analysts are looking and are not comfortable with what they see.

What do we really expect to happen in two months that will tell who is right and who is wrong??
