Do you have any idea why that Maxtor 11.5GB REQUIRES Win95???? I've never seen something like that in relation to a hard drive, yet I've read the outer box at various stores, and that's what it says. It also has restrictions on whether it will work as a master/slave in a system that has Win 95 installed as a full version or upgrade. Depending on which version of Win 95 you have, you then have to configure the drive as the master or slave, as per this restriction. You don't have a choice.

All of this sounds too weird for me, so I opted not to buy it, though I know people who have, and love it.

Any help would be appreciated. I am using Win NT, and I'd like to know if I would be able to use it there.
