ELWOOD--GOOD MORNING 1) Still in the smokey haze call FLORIDA ---wanted to make a comment about EP interview week before last on MONEY LINE . EP stated that that direct sales in the market as a whole was 10% direct & 80% indirect . He did not give the feeling that CPQ was moving as fast to the direct model as needed . It would seem if DELL can make over a billion dollars in profit with the direct method then CPQ should at least make it a real high priority but I did not get the feeling that he thought was the business model of the future. Is not EP schedule to speak today at a conference as a key note speaker ? BEST WISHES BILL
