Hay Captain,

My name reflects my trading mentality. It has been developed over the years by watching the majority of the market traders develop a very acute herd investment mentality. Not that it doesn't work, but it makes other techniques employed in the investment community sometimes more "stressful"!

Anyhow, to address your question, I think CS will fall in the $11.50 to $12.50 trading range for the remainder of the day and possibly the week. And I will be buying more when it gets there. CS/CB are on track. My belief is that he has been given some 'general' guidelines by a third party entity as to what they would like to see out of CS within the next year, some of these things of which may not make sense to a short term day trader sitting in his office watching CBS Market Watch. A natural side effect of this climate will be that CS will make acquisitions that do not seem to make sense to most and people will unload the stock when CS does not beat street estimates.

Thanks,
Teflon

Captain,

As I stated this morning, today's action was predictable and fortunately for us CS closed on the high end of the range I offered up.

The interesting action in today's closing half hour of trading was that you could see the Specialists trying hard to push the stock lower. CS held up well considering, though they may succeed if we do not have a strong open tomorrow AM.

Stay long, and have hope. The real good news is that all of the negative comments on CNBC and downgrade (on earnings only) are primarily behind us. Hopefully we squeezed most of the day traders out, yet they may keep selling through Friday.

Thanks,
Teflon

p.s., as a brain teaser, go take a look at Jabil Circuit (JBL) and look what happened after their earnings release last week. The street treated them the same way. Understand that JBL is in a different business, but the "Market Treatment" is the same. LOOK AT THE LONG TERM STORY BURIED BENEATH THE SHORT TERM FOG.
