john, IOM earnings estimates have been steadily revised downward for 6 months now as more info about Iomega and its competition is realized. This situation will only increase as even more competition hits the shelves (Sony, Castlewood).

Iomega is in a classic decline phase, with no end in sight. I would suggest getting out in the $5's while you still can. 2 or 3 months from now, Iomega will pre-announce earnings for the 4th Q, and they will say they do not expect to see a profit for that Quarter either. Then it will happen again in the 1st Quarter '98. IOM will not be making much money (if any at all) in an OEM business model.
