Strange happenings today.....

I saw that last spike as well, then watched on RT as the bid went up from 1.59 to 1.75 over the course of a few minutes - all happening as the last several trades were all reported as going at the Bid. Any thoughts on what's going on? Daytraders or MM covering shorts?

BID 1.75 ASK 1.79

Something is going on to warrant this price going up.I think that a press release of some positive news is imminent this week & to look for more of a price increase as the week progresses!
