I'm tickled to have become such an important part of your lives. I'm never going to be able to provide everything directly. It's especially difficult with investigator presentations, where I often have incomplete or hearsay information too. And you guys have done so well doing your own research that I doubt I could do better. Carry on, and don't forget to call me sometime.

Sounds a lot like the beer guzzling slob who was always complaining his wife didn't clean up the place. And you call me sexist? Not that you're a slob, George. I don't mean to return the insult, only reveal that yours was flawed. As for IR people, I don't agree that >>it's [their] job to get these powerful people to pay attention.<< I suppose they can and should try within limits to sensitize upper management to IR needs but from the other perspective a CEO has lots of other things to worry about, many of them of greater gravity. Please don't misconstrue this as sexist, too: don't mistake surface makeup for the underlying complexion, the beard for the chin, or the PR for the product. I respect Ellen and her position for what they are, but I don't think it honors either to elevate them to "powerhouse" status.
