Natural gas is a resource in ADDITION to the coal and coal-bed methane. And IMO is MUCH more important. Easier to extract. Easier to transport. Higher demand.

Can coal-bed methane be used in all the same ways that natural gas is used? Six or seven years ago here in Milan we switched--for domestic use, at least--from natural gas to methane. Is this the kind of methane we're talking about? The reasons given for the change were that it's cheaper and cleaner-burning.

Thanks eric for the clarification. All of your recent posts have
been informative, especially for laymen such as myself. I found
the glossary most helpful. Keep it coming.

BTW In the future you might want to put the header **offtopic**
in your posts, as stock talk about the company MTEI is
definitely 'offtopic' ;)
