Cardin,
Samsung has to back their DDR SDRAM and can't give Rambus much
help. I doubt Micron is the only one who is bitter over the
Rambus deal. Check out the Consortium page at:

Cardin, I kind of agree with MU on this one. That sound you hear is Hell freezing over. But everyone in the DRAM business being held hostage by this tiny co. and their monopolistic bully of a partner is pretty scary. Besides, SDRAM II looked fairly solid on the specs.

Intel could find itself in another situation similar to when they were talking Burst Edo and everyone else (other than MU) was talking SDRAM. Interesting to see what develops.
