3 for 1
According to IBD 3 for 2 and 2 for 1 splits are much more bullish than 3 or 4 for 1. Also, I tracked Disney which only splits every 5 or 6 years but splits 4 for 1 (3 for 1 this time) and HD which splits every year and a half and always does 2 for 1. 2 for 1 more often gives you much more shares eventually than the 3 for 1 or 4 for 1 once in a while.
In case anyone was wondering.

Zeem, just to be sure you understand, there is not a split set for July. All that is for sure is that the Company is increasing the number of outstanding shares to 3 bln from 1 bln. Now, of course, one would assume that a split is soon (or immediately) to follow, but don't count on an immediate split.

BTW, forget the 3-for-1. It has always gone 2-for-1, and the authorization will allow for two of them, whereas it would only allow for one 3-for-1. Also, eventhough the authorization goes from 1 to 3 bln, there are only about 750 mln (more or less) issued shares, currently. One two-fer takes that to 1.5 bln, and another to 3 bln.
Buybacks will be crucial to keep the dilution from overtaking the available unauthorized shares.
