The key to this is the resistance of the S&P , and if we break it or the rally fails, the tide will effect all the boats. It's hard to set a target on a stock, without looking at the overall market, more often than not they will go hand in hand, ( if they are part of the index your looking at. Buck that and you ask for trouble 75% of the time. Some times more, as I've seen the SOXX run 90 to 100 % , but never, not once 50/50, they trade more as a grope, as does the OEX..the S&P is a little broad , but I watch the top 50 in it..right now that top 50 is kicking butt, and you only have 8 of that 50 going the other way, so 84% are going with the tide, and that is the way it generally goes betting aginst it, and you better be party to some real inside info.
