re Possibility of DELL split

The proxy statement has one provision for approval which would raise the number of authorized shares from 1MM to 3MM. This does NOT indicate a stock split.

It DOES permit DELLs management to declare one or more stock splits at its discretion. Currently, with only 1MM shares authorized and about 700M issued, they could not do that. Conversely, if DELL had not requested approval of a greater number of shares, the chances of a stock split would have been perceived as very marginal.

However, considering DELL's past growth and split history, current price range, and future prospects, we anticipate that management MAY declare a split later this year.

Regards, 3.

. Doesn't that incur that a 3 to 1 split may be in effect soon?? Please expand on this! -

Dell shareholders will probably incur little advantage either way, although I admit this isn't implied. ;o)
