June 23, 1998 -- In an executive appointment designed to accelerate its plan to
become a global leader in telecommunications and Internet products and services, Franklin Telecom
(OTC: FTEL) today named industry veteran Peter Buswell as the Company's President and Chief

"Peter is a key addition to Franklin's executive team," said Frank W. Peters, Chairman and Chief

We are dubbing this season of '98 "FNet Rollout Summer".

intend to be adding several countries per month to our FNet
network. Within the next twelve months, that pace will
increase.

by next month, and, as per Helen, they're on schedule.
