To all, 2 points to consider about DGIV. I just wanna share a couple of points that I have run into re:DGIV that I hope will help fellow investors. I sometimes tend to focus in on one thing and fail to see the other more important points. 1. Even though the technology is called Voice over IP (VoIP), voice traffic will probably comprise a minor portion of the traffic. We tend to think only about the voice thing cuz that's was we are most familiar with and with all these ads now out for these 5 cents/min calls. IMHO, the big portion of the traffic will involve the transmission of Fax and data, so called enterprise level. That will be huge - global companies with subsidiaries and partners in different parts of the world need to communicate. So we need to keep that in mind. 2. most of us live in the US and canada and we tend to think of long distance as between the US and country X. I think we need to get out of that frame of mind. Sure, HongKong needs to communicate with US. But Hongkong also needs to communicate with Europe, HongKong needs to communicate with Tokyo and with singapore etc etc. Sure, maybe AT &T, MCI, and Sprint will do hongkong-US, but who's going to do Hongkong-London, or Tokyo, or singapore??? Due to the nationalistic nature of telecommunications in a lot of these countries, a multinational telco such as AT&T, Sprint and MCI will have difficulty breaking into their market. I think that's where DGIV comes in. remember what R1 has said many many times before - DGIV IS A GLOBAL COMPANY!!!! Putting the dots on the map!!! So don't forget that -> LD is not about country X to USA, it is about country X to country Y to country z to country A..................and there are over 160 countries on this planet!!
