So, while I'm sure you feel you are being asked to prove yourself, you probably do not feel you need to do so. I don't think any do, but it is a part of our human natures that we want others to prove themselves to us. In Islam, we are required to prove anything. From the existence of God to our very religion. I enjoy proving it to show to others why I believe what I believe. They also learn about Islam in doing so. Was really curious about one thing though, as I said in my original post, do Muslims experience a divine presence at some certain time like those who accept Christ as their personal Savior? Perhaps you mean like baptism or Born again? "Our Religion is the baptism of God And who Can Baptise better than God? And it is He whom we worship." The Qur'an Nothing in our religion is based on "feelings" people may have. While many Muslims are Muslim because of the way their heart feels to praise God and prostrate themselves before Him, I don't rest my faith on emotions that can be manipulated (i.e. Have you ever seen those people on TV that touch someone and they fall to the floor. Do you actually believe that?). Muslims do not believe that Man is born with sin. Muslims believe that we are born with "clean slates" and therefore sinless. After all, what has a child done after being born from his/her mother's womb? If you rest your faith upon what others feel or what you may feel when they accept Jesus as their Savior, that's fine. I personally have seen Buddhists and Hindus and many other religions have these same sort of feelings and "divine touch" when they accept their respective religions. What someone feels though cannot be brought out. Others cannot see that feeling and therefore it isn't grounds for submittal in a logical discussion - one based on reason. That "feeling" is restricted to that person and cannot serve as grounds of evidence. "Come let us Reason Together" The Bible Let me ask you this: If you are born again, then tell me, who is your spiritual Father? Ray
