Ouch! (re iManage press releases). I'd love to hear the detail behind the unhappy customer. Always interested in knowing what causes projects to fail.

The flip side, and there is always one, is that in our experience with dozens and dozens of implementations, the PC DOCS product performs well and is stable. We have also done a bunch of "clean up" work where other integrators and sometimes customers have got into trouble. Happy to say we've always turned those experiences around too.

I'm not saying that PC DOCS or any product is perfect, because no software product is perfect. But I am saying there is no reason I can think of that a DOCS Open implementation should be unstable.

Pretty nasty little press release to be sure! I bet there is more to the story...

I see that Gartner has just confirmed that Netright (the slingers of mud) have picked up the remnants of FrontOffice. Apparently they have just bought the codebase and FrontOffice customers (if there were any) have been hung out to dry.

They seem to be saying they will take a few months to integrate the code (to give them a more Microsoft look and feel) ... then I guess we can expect some more mud!
