Obviously goals (more than your opponent) move you to the
next rounds. I was answering another post on the thread.

Historically, Italy and Germany have started slow... check it out.

True Argentina and Romania (Hagi, Ilie, etc.) and Netherlands
(only one game) have played well.

France vs. Denmark ...(walk in the park)... It could be
Central Park. France might get mugged. The advantage of home crowd should help them, though.

"German Geriatrics".... For 70 minutes they certainly looked that
way. Ulf Kirsten and Oliver Bierhof are top scorers in Germany and
Italy. Klinsmann and M”ller can still play a little.
Unfortunately Sammer is injured.
(looking at your posts, I see you have practice giving emotional
responses to some German fans) No need here, I try to be objective.

Brazil is always an easy choice... wonder how they play against
the non professional Norway team.

Anyway, sincere thanks for your comments... I will look into the
other WC thread.
