Winston,

What is your opinion on the SOX? If you put a chart of VLSI on top of the SOX, you will see a striking similarity. Over the long haul, VLSI will mimic the move in that index whether you think the company is a dog or not. My read on the SOX is that it has bottomed for this business cycle and I think we are in for at least a 12 month bull market in semiconductor stocks. Good luck if you are short, but I think you are fighting the tape.

BTW, I agree with Linda. The tone of your messages is what bothers the bulls, not the fact that you are short.

i dont think anyone sold because of your comments...most saw through them i think.

but giving another outlook to the stock....i dont know about that. you never presented a rational case for why we should be short VLSI. i think the closest you got was the comment about semis being in the toilet.
