Ouch! This news is crap. ANZ must wait until the fall to get the cash and paper! Who brokered this deal anyways.......Hmmmm, I bet that Grays son got some spread out of both ends of the financing deal!

Nice little setup with ANZ and Dennis's son handling financing deals like the Bank note to McDonalds Rest. for 5 mil at 4 pts. of interest.

Can we say "Misappropriation of Funds" Boys and Girls!

Besides doesn't the shareholders need to vote when a major Asset is to be sold?......Oh I guess I forgot that Company insiders control options and the float!

Lets see how the market reacts to this news in the A.M.

Re. sale of Rappa...this is a very positive move for these reasons and more:

1. The deal is supposed to bring pretax proceeds of approximately $3,400,000 ($2,100,000 in cash and about $1,300,000 in common shares of the waste management company) from a 1996 investment of $1,800,000.

That is 89% gain using these figures (which could even be conservative estimates)...pretty good return if you ask me.

2. Waste management in Africa could be a VERY profitable business to get into because the people and government there are starting to wake up to how important this is (as are people around the world).

For example, this paragraph...

"As a result of a growing willingness and determination on the part of the South African public to become involved in waste management...."

...comes from this website in Africa:
