If it makes bears feel any better, NSCP went up 10x the IPO price before it popped. AMZN has just recently crossed that threshold.

But I must concur with whoever else said that the opposite of "buying on strong fundamentals" ain't "short on weak fundamentals" but "short on collapsing fundamentals".

That is all they are talking about on YHOO and the FOOL.com

Goes pretty much like this..

This thing is going to the moon. How can you not make money owning this stock? Why isn't everyone riding this train?? There are not even any attempts at a substanative logical reason to support this kind of valuation.. NONE. HEHE Please go another 20 points.. That way the ride down is all the longer... I will be back.. Just not for a long timer (or until the whole sector is tanking).

This is one big game of wallstreet chicken.. Yup gap down is the only thing that can happen at this point. Just have to be out or in on the right day...

<<<I wonder if 'investors' are thinking 'split' right now.>>>

I think it is the responsible thing for management to do, in terms of maximizing shareholder value. They might wait a couple weeks for the price to consolidate at this level, (if it is going to).

Doubling the # of shares makes the per share losses easier to stomach.

My arbitrary long-term target for this stock is 300--that is when I am selling , if it does not go down to 50% of its all-time high before then.

I sincerely hope the bears are weathering this storm OK. Nobody likes to see them getting beat up from this.

Best Regards,
Tom D

I wonder if 'investors' are thinking 'split' right now.

Hahahaha, they should be, AMZN is now higher than the last pre-split, just a few days ago!...I think it was 88 when it split, no?.......;^)

I think at this point even CEO Bezos is concerned about how he can get out....once the squeeze ends it will do a Presstek and collapse...poor guy has no way to unload his shares and will watch 50-60% of these paper profits vanish at some point....he is not stupid, he knows its coming..........;^)
