Norway 2 x 1 Brazil Final WEll.... Although a deserved victory by Norway because they obligated Brazil to play Norway's game. The loss is for the World Cup Why? Norway is not a spectacular team and while hard to play against, any team that has qualified so far will beat them (including Brazil, as they would be playing with their "first" team). Morocco would have been a more exiting team to have in the 2nd phase. What really hurts is that they beat Brazil by a STUPID mistake by the referee, man, I hate these idiots! What a gift to the Norsemen... Nevertheless, I have said it before, a victory is a victory, Brasil should have played a far smarter game and scored earlier and play the way they know..... Norway NEVER, NEVER GAVE UP, a good victory to the Vikings indeed. This is the price of overconfidence, in essence you MUST count on the fact that the referee is your opponent. Brasil, this was your last mistake allowed..... On with the fest.... Great World Cup. Z. p.s. if I seem slow in my responses, blame it on SI, I do not know if it is only me, but since five or so days ago it takes FOREVER TO DO ANYTHING WITH SI Is this only me or ????

Morocco 3 x 0 Scotland Final Well, it did not matter as the Norsemen pull the upset of the Cup (so far) Where are you George ? here is your upset.... x y zebra... Looks like "Loki" the Norse God of mischief might have come just in time, onto the WC thread, to help the Vikings beat Brasil. Well, "Loki" must have "incarnated" in the form of the referee, who by the way, marked a non-existent off side against the Noresemen earlier.... This is the WORST referee in a long long time..... Anyway... Loki Welcome here at the WC thread, the most civil thread of the SI Universe, in spite of the emotions due to one of the best sports... I am sure you will contribute greatly here. Z.
