Steve, OFF TOPIC I am concerned about socket X too. If Socket X success, it will eat away all low-med range market and companies like Diamond, STB will be history. I serious doubt Socket X will success (at least not for next 2 years) until Intel and othe major motherboard makers say "Yes". Voodoo 2 maybe the best supported 3D chip around, but I think Matrox G200 worth a look, it renders the best possible 3D graphic at very high speed and is among the best in 2D category. I wonder how Banshee stack up with G200 in terms of rendering quality and performance. Oh, have you look at the preview of "Exccession - Out of the Void" yet? What do you think? Thanks aC
